Feral Interactive plans to release additional content in a premium edition

Initially slated to make its Mac debut in December 2013, Codemasters’ exciting Formula 1 2013 installment is finally set to arrive on OS X next month, March 6.

Publisher Feral Interactive confirms that F1 2013 sports all the cars, stars, and circuits from the 2013 season, as well as all the new car tweaks in accordance with the latest FIA regulations. Players will be able to get additional content in a premium edition of the game.

All digital copies of the title purchased outside Steam will be F1 2013: Classic Edition. Game copies purchased on Steam and other online stores except for the Mac App Store will support 16-player cross-platform multiplayer using SteamPlay.

Fans who download F1 2013 from the Mac App Store will only get support for offline split-screen multiplayer. Minimum system requirements include Intel 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 512MB graphics card, and OS X Mavericks 10.9.1.
