The F-Secure Corporation has announced today that they have launched the new F-Secure Internet Security 2008 solution thus making even more efforts in order for users to take full advantages as well as opportunities of the web, easily and safe.

For those of you that do not know, F-Secure Corporation protects consumers and businesses against computer viruses and other
threats from the Internet and mobile networks. F-Secure's award-winning solutions are available as a service subscription through more than 150 Internet service provider and mobile operator partners around the world, making F-Secure the global leader in this market. Now, more about their new software. First things first - it's a security software that is meant to protect your computer from any type of threats. After what I've read about it, anyone can use it - you don't need to be a computer geek to deploy it. It requires minimum user interaction. Some users don't even know what to choose when prompted by their firewalls, so security software might be a problem for them, but not with this one. But wait, that's not all, it also gets automatic and continuous updates, so you don't have to worry about that either. Also, another great feature is the fact that their program does not eat up a lot of resources. So, you're protected and you experience great system performance as well. Sounds good to me.

"Security is no longer defined in terms of fear, but the new measure is enablement and opportunity. Our task is to enable our customers to soar with the possibilities of the Net, leaving their security worries to be handled by our professional service" says Ari Alakiuttu, Vice President of Products and Services at F-Secure Corporation.

You can find this to be available here and do note that is works on Vista as well.
