F-Secure just released the beta version for their Internet Security 2013 suite. The novelties touted for this revision are designed to increase the protection level it delivers as well as the overall performance of the package.

Browser support in F-Secure Internet Security 2013 has been extended to include Google Chrome and it no longer installs itself as a browser plug-in. This has a positive impact on performance and makes the product browser independent.

There’s a new firewall solution available, as new filters have been added to the firewall provided by Windows.

DeepGuard, the behavior-based detection engine, has been renewed just like the other layers of protection such as real-time protection network and other proactive methods, in order to fend off sophisticated malware.

F-Secure Internet Security 2013 is available for download on this page.
