Since the perils of online banking are continuously increasing, the lack of such a component in F-Secure Internet Security 2013 placed the suite among the most under-featured security products on the market.
At the moment, the new feature can be downloaded and installed manually as an update for the second release of the bundle, although the company will push it to the users automatically, in the first quarter of 2013. The new feature works independently of the web browsers you use or the banks providing the service.
Users that want to upgrade to the new revision are required to punch in the original subscription key for F-Secure Internet Security 2013. A computer restart is required to apply the update and benefit from the online banking protection feature.
