F-Secure Appoints Christian Fredrikson as President and CEO

Christian Fredrikson started taking his role seriously on January 16, even though he was officially named president and CEO of F-Secure Corporation since November 2011.

Aged 47, Fredrikson is a Finnish citizen, married and the father of two children. He holds a master’s degree in engineering from Åbo Akademi University in Turku, Finland.

“I am very excited to be joining F-Secure as President and CEO as we embark on an enthusiastic start to 2012,” the new CEO reveals.

“F-Secure is already known as the global leader in security and storage related services, with a global focus on partnerships with ISP’s and mobile operators. My role, together with the strong F-Secure team is to drive future growth for the Company.”

Before joining the security solutions provider, Fredrikson was responsible for global sales at the Nokia Siemens Network, but he also held positions as Head of Asia Pacific Region and Head of OBS Business Unit.
