F-Secure has made available for download a new version of its App Permissions software for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 1.7.0.

The new release comes with an improved user interface, as well as with the possibility to share screenshots, the release notes unveil. Moreover, the software packs support for more languages, while also featuring a series of fixes for some of the bugs previously found to affect it.

For those out of the loop, we should note that the app was launched so as to provide users with info on the permissions of all applications installed on their devices.

With App Permissions, “you can check for apps that can cost you money or compromise your privacy by accessing confidential data. You can also search for apps that use certain permissions or combinations of permissions, or use a set of predefined filters,” F-Secure explains.

You can download F-Secure App Permissions 1.7.0 for Android from Softpedia today. The app is compatible with devices running under Android 2.3.3 and up.
