Eyewitness Speaks of Tiger Woods’ Car Crash

Over the weekend, Tiger Woods was involved in a one-vehicle car crash. The exact details of the accident have not yet been established, with the police investigation still underway, which is partly why it has generated so much controversy. An eyewitness is now coming forward to recall what he’s seen on the scene Friday night, as TMZ informs.

As we also reported the other day, one theory that is currently making the rounds is that the injuries Woods claimed he sustained during the crash might have actually been caused by his wife Elin Nordegren, with whom he reportedly got into a heated argument just minutes before. So, she used his own golf club to beat him, and not to break the window to get him out as she told police, the same theory has it.

The eyewitness can’t actually say whether that be the case or not but one thing is sure: Elin seemed quite beside herself with worry, which would infirm the theory that had been abusive to Woods only minutes before. “According to a witness, Tiger had a cut on his lower lip when emergency responders and witnesses arrived. The wound was bloody. Tiger was wearing shorts, a t-shirt and no shoes. It’s illegal in Florida to drive without shoes,” TMZ says.

“Tiger was lying on the ground unconscious when EMT workers arrived. They used ‘pain stimulus’ – a method where pressure is applied on an unconscious person to make them alert – but Tiger only briefly opened his eyes and then lost consciousness. We’re told EMTs asked Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren, if Tiger was taking any medications. She went in the house and brought out two pill bottles. She said she did not know when he had last taken the meds. Elin was extremely upset and was told twice by paramedics to stand back while they tended to her husband,” the paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip website has learned.

Tiger Woods crashed his SUV by entering on his neighbor’s lawn, smashing into a fire hydrant and then into a tree. The accident happened late in the night and, as also noted above, as on now, police still don’t know what made the golfer run his car off the road, especially since all signs seem to indicate that he wasn’t going at great speed.
