The GNOME Project has announced earlier today, February 17, the immediate availability for download and testing of the first Beta release of the upcoming Eye of GNOME 3.12 software, the default image viewer of the GNOME desktop environment.

Eye of GNOME 3.12 Beta 1 now uses the Unity Control Center app when it’s run under the Unity desktop environment and fixes the Previous, Next, and Undo icons in the RTL (Right-to-Left) mode.

Moreover, several translations have been updated in this unstable release of the upcoming Eye of GNOME 3.12 application, including Czech, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Lithuanian, Brazilian Portuguese, Thai, British English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Download Eye of GNOME 3.12 Beta 1 right now from Softpedia, but keep in mind that it is a development release and it should not be installed on production machines, as it’s intended to be used for testing purposes only.
