Earlier this month, South Korean-based Samsung unveiled to the world its next flagship Android-based device, the Galaxy S 4, which is set to arrive on shelves in some markets with an 8-core Exynos 5 Octa processor packed inside, while featuring a quad-core CPU in others.

One feature that was believed to be missing from this handset flavor was support for LTE connectivity, though it seems that this is not the case.

In fact, Samsung themselves took it to Twitter to confirm that: “The Exynos 5 Octa supports LTE and all 20 bands.”

Apparently, only Korea will receive the LTE-enabled Exynos 5 Octa-based Galaxy S 4 (models SHV-E300S, SHV-E300K and SHV-E300L), while users in other countries will have to go for the quad-core Snapdragon 600 model.

Samsung was already said to have chosen Qualcomm’s chipset due to issues with its processor, and it might ship only a small number of 8-core Galaxy S 4 units in the beginning.
