Many of us found have been involved in situations when somebody wanted to give us a file from their USB Pen Drive device, but no computer or USB bridge was available at that moment.

But when a problem appears, the solution is not far behind, and the American company Xmultiple has developed a device exactly for this type of situations. The company
began shipping USB transfer devices using FlashPoint technology, which lets users transfer files between flash drives.

The devices, which are very light and small, are a part of Xmultiple's ShareDrive line of USB flash memory pen drives. Flashpoint ShareDrives are powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, which offers them an extended functioning time. This line offers Flashpoint ShareDrive units with storage capacities of 128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB and 2GB, and their price varies between $69.99 and $229.95 USD, depending on their storage capacity.

The possible uses for such a device are extremely varied, ranging from the classical transfer of computer files to the exchange of data between cell phones and other types of mobile devices, and that is why it is very likely that they'll enjoy a large-scale success.
