How many times did you forget to fully charge your phone's battery? How many times did you have a full workday when you had to use your mobile phone to the maximum and depleted your battery too fast? Advanced Battery Saver comes in handy in all of these situations, as it helps you get the most out of it. Developed by Melon Mobile, the application is fully compatible with any Symbian 3rd or 5th Edition smartphones. Basically, Advanced Battery Saver will limit or even disable some of the features that are eating your battery's energy, such as lights, vibration, network, Bluetooth, Internet connection, applications, or sounds.

Advanced Battery Saver comes with three predefined power-saving modes, so the user will only need to switch between these, by selecting the one that suits them best. These modes are defining the level of power-saving according to the users' needs. The first two modes – Basic saver and Max saver – can only be selected, but cannot be modified. The User mode enables those that have their own needs to make what modifications they think appropriate.

Furthermore, an auto-saver feature allows users to configure Advanced Battery Saver, so that it automatically activates one of the above modes when the battery reaches a certain level of consumption. Overall, the software can extend the life of the phone's battery by up to 30%,
The application can be downloaded manually or over-the-air, directly from the developer's website. Melon Mobile offers possible users a fully featured, seven-day trial, so they can try before they buy the product. After the seven-day trial has expired, they will have to register Advanced Battery Saver. The registration can be done after paying an amount of $9.99.
