14 DAY TRIAL // Designers and developers using Microsoft’s development platform and tools are now able to get products from the company at a discount. With Christmas just around the corner, customers can give themselves a little gift, or get a present at a discount as Expression Studio 3 comes now with a price tag of just $419.96, down from $599.95. At the same time, developers that leverage both the Expression and Visual Studio lineup of solutions will be able to save no less than $400 when purchasing Expression Studio 3 and Visual Studio 3 Professional Edition together. The discount will only appear to users after both items are added to the shopping cart.
All discounts are offered through the Microsoft Store. “For a limited time, there is a 30% discount on all Microsoft Expression 3 products (Microsoft Expression Studio + Expression Web, both full and upgrade versions) through the Microsoft Online Store for US-based customers. No promo code required at all – just go to the store and add to the shopping cart,” revealed a member of the Expression Blend and Design team.
Expression Web 3 is available for just $104.30, down from $149.00. Of course, at the same time, the Microsoft Store features additional special offerings in tune with the holiday season. Office 2007 Home and Student for example is just $89.99, down from $149.99. The only products that have successfully dodged all discounts for the 2009 holiday shopping season are the Windows 7 editions. It appears that Microsoft already went through all the Windows 7 special offerings after the operating system shipped on October 22nd, 2009.
