Gaiagi Photo Explorer is an interesting project that bundles the power of Google Maps, Panoramio and Flickr into a single product, allowing the viewers to explore the world using a few mouse clicks. The product works quite well, the search technology is useful and, what's most important is that it will help you view a lot of pictures from certain locations of the world. As you might know, Panoramio was bought by the Mountain View giant Google some time ago, being one of the top imagery providers for Google Earth and Google Maps. Panoramio works like a service that brings high-resolution photos from every corner of the world and, once they are included in Google's mapping tools, they bring a different perspective for the search giant's fans.

The service is based on a simple procedure: search for a certain location, let's say New York, and you should be able to view several photos of the city. "Click on a photo to zoom into the location of the photo and click again to go back to the previous view. Get more photos for the current view by clicking the link. Use the search field at the top of the map to jump to a new location to show photos or search for anything in the present map view," it is mentioned in the instructions of the technology.

As always, Google Maps serves as the main solution for other projects just like the Gaiagi Photo Explorer. But since the Mountain View company developed My Maps, the product started becoming even more powerful as numerous users and companies turned to Google's mapping solution to build satellite views with several purposes.

However, Gaiagi Photo Explorer is a simple service that might have the answers to your questions concerning the secrets of the world because you're only one click away from an impressive collection of photos published by two huge communities of users.
