Experience the Biggest Tank Battle in Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943

1C Company has announced that it plans to develop and publish a new World War II tactical simulation, called Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943, set to arrive in the coming year and will, as the name shows, simulate what historians describe as the biggest armor battle in the history of warfare. Kursk 1943 should build on the reputation for historical accuracy and realism that the Theatre of War is known for.

1C Company is saying that the player will be able to control the entire course of the battle, from the initial German movement until the last shot is fired. There will be 20 missions included in the historical campaign and each of them can be completed in various ways, taking care of all the objectives or only of critical ones.

The choices that the player makes will affect how the coming engagements will play out, from the direction that their detachment takes to the level of support, from reinforcements to air support and artillery fire, on which they can count when taking on the enemy.

The developers are stating that all of the commanders engaged in the Battle of Kursk will be included in the game and that players will be able to use 40 types of military equipment, a variety of vehicles and 40 types of small arm loadouts to fully simulate the battle. All of the weapons in the game are based on their real-life counterparts and have the same characteristics to immerse the player even further in the historical scenario.

Theatre of War 2: Kursk 1943 is set to allow both single player campaigns and multiplayer matches and there is a powerful mission generator that can create random scenarios for those who are interested in going beyond the Battle of Kursk. The game does not yet have a release period.
