Fans of RPG genre and KickStarter backers alike will probably be disappointed to hear the successfully funded project Expeditions: Conquistador has been delayed.

Initially slated for a February 28 launch, the game's release has been pushed back a few weeks. No word on the exact launch date for now but we will keep an eye out for this one.

The good news is developers will add a previously unannounced multiplayer mode, which will be part of the main game from day one.

The folks at Logic Artists, developers of the tactical RPG title, announced the additional time until release will be used for balancing and graphics improvements.

According to them, Kickstarter backers who pledged more than $30 will receive the current build of the game for download “as a goody to tide them over during the wait.” Check out our quick look of Expeditions: Conquistador here.
