Microsoft is offering customers already running the most recent iteration of Exchange Server the possibility to enjoy extended language support with their product. The Exchange Server 2010 Language Pack Bundle can be downloaded for free from the Redmond company, enabling users to add more languages to Exchange Server 2010. Live on the Microsoft Download Center since the end of the past week, the Language Pack Bundle brings to the table the most recently updated language packs designed to integrate seamlessly with Exchange Server 2010.

“The language bundle includes all packs for all supported languages,” the company noted. “This download is available to customers who would like to install the most recent language packs for Exchange 2010. This bundle does not include language packs for Unified Messaging.”

Microsoft released the final version of Exchange 2010 in the first half of November 2010. Stephen Elop, president, Microsoft Business Division, stressed during his Microsoft TechEd Europe 2009 keynote the fact that the main advantage for customers embracing Exchange 2010 would be the cost reduction made possible by the product. According to the software giant, some customers have reported savings of as much as 70%, following the implementation of Exchange Server 2007’s successor.

“Now, more than ever, your organization requires cost-effective and flexible communication tools. With Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 you can achieve new levels of reliability and performance with features that simplify your administration, help protect your communications, and delight your users by meeting their demands for greater mobility,” Microsoft explained. “Microsoft Exchange Server, the cornerstone of Microsoft’s Unified Communications solution, is a flexible and reliable messaging platform that can help you lower your messaging costs by 50-80%, increase productivity with anywhere access to business communications, and safeguard your business with protection and compliance capabilities that help you manage risk.”
