German memory products maker Exceleram, has just announced the introduction of a new high density 8GB DDR3 module that was designed in order to come as the cheapest solution of this type to reach the market.

The new DDR3 module is called the E30200A and is designed as a no-frills DDR3 memory stick lacking even a heatspreader as the chips installed probably don’t need any extra cooling.

The 1.5V voltage required for operating also has its role in stopping this module from overheating, while the 1333MHz DDR3 (PC3-10700) memory speed and the 9T CAS latency the stick was designed to run at certainly don’t need any extra juice.

“[The] target for us was to find a solution for our customers to obtain a new 8GB 1333MHz CL9 Memory Module with the price at only US$ 49.99,” said Steffen Eisenstein, the product manager of Exceleram.

“This price combined with the strong quality level as well as Exceleram always does, it’s a really tough target for us to reach. But now we have got the solution, the E30200A Memory Module,” concluded the company’s rep.

At $49.99 (37.4 EUR), the new Exceleram memory module enables users to install as much as 32GB of DDR3 in motherboards supporting four memory sockets for as low as $200 (149.6 EUR).

Furthermore, users who purchased an eight socket LGA 2011 motherboard and want to populate all its memory slots can do this for just $400 (about 299 EUR) and will get an impressive 64GB of system memory.

To put things in perspective, the cheapest 8GB memory modules that are available right now from Newegg are priced at $199.99 for a dual-channel kit, which makes it twice as expensive as a similar Exceleram E30200A setup while getting the same DDR3-1333 and CL9 specs.
