Ex-Husband of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Mistress Speaks Out: I Thought Boy Was Mine

The man to whom Arnold Schwarzenegger’s mistress was married for 10 years and who helped her raise her children, including the actor’s illegitimate son, found out about the boy’s paternity in the press, he says.

For the first time since the scandal of the affair and the love child broke in the press, someone well familiar with the situation is speaking out – and what he has to say isn’t to Arnold’s credit.

Rogelio Baena was married to Patty, the housekeeper and assistant who worked for the Schwarzenegger family for 20 years, who had a very long affair with Arnold and who finally gave birth to Arnold’s son 13 years ago.

Until last week, Rogelio believed that the boy in question was his son – so imagine his surprise when he found out about his paternity.

He’s now telling Entertainment Tonight that he feels “betrayed” but that the boy is sheltered from the scandal and has probably not heard anything of it just yet.

“Arnold Schwarzenegger for me, [was] my hero… Maria [Shriver, Arnold’s wife] is destroyed,” Rogelio says.

Asked by ET what he’d say to his son if he had the chance, Rogelio says it would be, “I am your father. That’s all.”

In the same interview, Rogelio says he hasn’t heard from his ex-wife in a very long time and that no one seems to know where she is now, as the scandal is continues to grab more headlines by the day.

He does know one thing, though: he never saw this kind of betrayal coming from the woman he once loved. “For sure. I was angry. I feel betrayed. I feel like no good,” he says.

The only consolation he seems to find now is that the boy, whom he probably still thinks of as his son and not Arnold’s, is being kept shielded from everything.

“I don’t think he has seen television. I don’t think he knows,” Rogelio says.

While Patty is nowhere to be found, Maria is taking the necessary steps to make sure her separation from Arnold becomes definite, by hiring an attorney to represent her, word online has it.

If so, she stands to walk from the 25-year marriage with about $200 million, as we also informed you earlier today.
