Ex Glamour Model Caprice Goes Makeup-Free: I Did Not Get Botox

Former glamour girl Caprice Bourret, simply known as Caprice, has long made peace with the fact that she’s growing old. As such, claims that she recently had Botox done or even a surgical interventions that went wrong are absurd, she says for Closer magazine.

A short while ago, Caprice was photographed looking less than stellar, with the skin on her face incredibly tight and pulled, and with deep wrinkles under the eyes.

The pic in question started rumors about a facelift gone wrong. Days later, she was pictured with her usual smooth skin – no wrinkles in sight – which immediately got people talking about Botox.

Upset that she doesn’t have much of an option to prove the media and the critics wrong, Caprice has agreed to go completely makeup-free for the shot, just to show what she’s like underneath all that styling.

Since she’s on the topic, she also takes the time to say that she hasn’t had any Botox just yet and that all the rumors to the contrary are simply hurtful. She explains what the whole deal was with the first photo, saying it was just a “bad” shot.

Not that she blames those who came to this conclusion, she stresses.

“It was a bad picture. But if I’d seen someone else looking like that I’d have said, ‘Oh my goodness, that person’s had major plastic surgery that went totally wrong.’ So I didn’t get annoyed about it,” she says.

“I’d had some sad news the day before – a close friend had passed away. I’d been crying, so my eyes were puffy and red, my face was red and swollen and I’d put on about two pounds of foundation - I felt awful and I looked awful. But I haven’t had anything done as yet,” the former model adds.

“After that photo people were saying I’d had a botched surgery job, but then I was seen four days later looking normal. It made me laugh! I haven’t even had Botox, I don’t think I need it. Maybe in the future I will, who knows?” Caprice further says.

In the same interview with Closer, the 39-year-old star talks about how she keeps in such amazing shape, reveals her love of working out and admits partly responsible for her aging gracefully are her good genes.
