"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned / Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned," William Congreve wrote in 1697 in the play "The Mourning Bride." Many people wrongly attribute this quote to Shakespeare, but it could have been said by anybody who failed to meet a woman's expectations, any man can testify to it.

Wikipedia founder Jimmy 'Jimbo' Wales has just dumped his girlfriend and did it in a very original manner, via his site. She had not been formerly announced of the
coming rupture, and even told a friend that they have patched things up, according to Valleywag. But once the news reached her ears, she came back with a vengeance. Childish, one might think, but a proper response to his method: Rachel Marsden is auctioning on eBay two clothing items that Jimmy had left at her New York apartment.

"Hi, my name is Rachel and my (now ex) boyfriend, Wikipedia founder Jimmy Wales, just broke up with me via an announcement on Wikipedia. It was such a classy move that I was inspired to do something equally classy myself, [] Both of these items have been washed, twice. Otherwise, they would not be in salable condition. I took them out of GitMo style isolation from a plastic bag in my closet (where they were placed to prevent the ongoing terrorism of my olfactory senses) and washed them out for the purposes of this auction," is what the revised description of the item on sale reads.

Many have learned about the vengeful spirit of scorned women and after encountering one have deemed it safer to stay away than to risk life and limb confronting her. Wales should have thought twice before going about it via Wikipedia, but I guess this is one of the "you live and you learn" moments everybody has to go through at some point in his life.

At the moment, the T-Shirt on sale's highest bid is of $102.5 and the sweater modeled in the screenshot on the left is worth $202.5. Both had the initial starting price of $0.99.
