Though speculation about his orientation has never ceased making the rounds, Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block never addressed the issue publicly. His ex-girlfriend may have done just that, outing him on live television.

Back in the ‘90s, when NKOTB were at the height of their fame (for the first time around), Knight and pop star Tiffany were romantically involved for a while, even though they initially denied they were more than just friends.

Just recently, Tiffany was doing press rounds to promote her new show, when she unintentionally outed Knight as gay, PopEater reports.

“Tiffany appeared on Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens: Live,’ alongside Debbie Gibson, to discuss their roles in the upcoming Syfy original movie, ‘Mega Python vs. Gatoroid,’ premiering Jan. 29,” PopEater says.

“During their sit down, host Andy Cohen asked Tiffany if she had cozied up with any of the NKOTB boys back in her days as a touring mall songstress. Her response: Jonathan Knight,” the same e-zine notes.

Not only did she confirm the supposed romance, but she even went as far as to say that she believed he’d only become attracted to men after he was with her, but not because of her.

“The quiet one, the shy one. [Jonathan Knight] became gay later. I didn’t do it. I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did,” Tiffany said, as cited by the aforementioned e-zine.

“Now looking back when we were dating, he was so much fun. We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to,” she added.

So far, Knight has not addressed Tiffany’s controversial remarks in any way. Come to think of it, there’s a very strong chance he never will, since he’s been in a similar situation before.

In February last year, Knight had a brief fling with a Brazilian model, who went to the press after the affair ended. He even provided Star magazine with photos of them together – Knight never denied that pics were fake or acknowledged them in any way, for that matter.
