Ewan Mc Gregor, Too Low Paid For A Gay Man

The "Transpotting"star is now paid only $510 (GBP285) a week for playing a gay man in his latest movie.

Ewan McGregor, who appears in The Island, a $122 million (GBP67.9 million) movie, is currently filming dark comedy Scenes Of A Sexual Nature in London.

The cast of the $905 000 movie, directed by Edward Blum, includes Sophie Okonedo, Catherine Tate, Hugh Bonneville, Andrew Lincoln, Gina McKee, Eileen Atkins, Benjamin Whitrow, Douglas Hodge, Mark Strong, Polly Walker, Adrian Lester, Holly Aird and Tom Hardy.

The low budget movie focuses on the lives of seven couples during the course of a single afternoon.

"We were a bit cheeky, writing to everybody that we did. But we ended up getting our first choices", writer Aschlin Ditta says.
