Evolve, the multiplayer co-op, competitive game developed by Turtle Rock has already gone gold and is now expected to be released on February 10 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

While console owners have nothing to worry about regarding the hardware requirements of the Evolve, PC gamers have been wondering what the minimum and recommended requirements will look like.

Well, with less than a month left until its official release, Turtle Rock announced Evolve’s PC specs, so that everyone makes the necessary upgrades to their rigs in case they don’t match the minimum requirements.

Before listing the PC specs for Evolve, you should know that the game requires Windows 7 64-bit in order to run. That being said, here is what you need in order to be able to play Evolve on PC:

Minimum requirements:

- Intel CPU: Core 2 Duo E6600 - AMD CPU: Athlon 64 X2 6400 - System RAM: 4GB - Nvidia video card: GeForce GTX 560 - ATI video card: Radeon HD 5770 - Video memory: 1GB - Hard drive: 50GB

Recommended requirements:

- Intel CPU: Core i7-920 - AMD CPU: A8-3870K - System RAM: 6GB - Nvidia video card: GeForce GTX 670 or GTX 760 - ATI video card: Radeon R9 280 - Video memory: 2GB - Hard drive: 50GB

Developers have also answered a few questions that were posted more often by PC gamers on Evolve’s forum. The first answer confirms that Evolve will feature support for 4K resolution right out of the box.

However, the game will not support SLI at launch. The good news is Turtle Rock is working hard on that and hopes to get it added into the game as soon as possible.

The PC version of Evolve will come with plenty of settings that players will be able to tweak to make it run smoother on their rig, including Texture Detail, Shader Detail, Model Detail, Shadow Quality, Particle Quality, Anti-Aliasing, Tessellation, VSYNC, and Resolution.
