The development team at Turtle Rock and publisher 2K Games announce that they are now opening sign-ups for the alpha stage of their upcoming Evolve, which means that all those who are interested in the new asymmetric shooter can prepare to test an early version of the title.

The company explains that "Participants must: have a PC that can run the game, have a working Steam Account, be able to support a large coordinated user test on the game, and be located in mainland North America. All prospective participants must be willing to adhere to a strict Game Demo Participant Agreement in this survey and not discuss or disclose anything about the test."

The official site is open for submissions and Turtle Rock is asking all those interested in Evolve to move as fast as possible because it will try to have a full list of participants ready by July 5.

It's unclear when the actual alpha test for the shooter will start and what kind of content will be included, but the developers will probably be more focused on getting the core concepts right than on creating a complete experience.

Evolve is a shooter that pits a team of four human Hunters against a powerful Monster that has the ability to gather experience and gain new powers over time.
