The overall game flow is reminiscent of Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock's previous hit

Developer Turtle Rock Studios held a closed alpha event over the course of the weekend, and in spite of the non-disclosure agreement that players had to agree to in order to gain access, some footage made it over to the Internet.

It was only a matter of time until someone leaked some gameplay footage from the upcoming asymmetrical multiplayer first-person shooter, as often is the case, in spite of NDAs and whatever such measures developers put in place in order to prevent information from seeping.

DailyMotion user Lizyyyyyy decided to violate the NDA in order to deliver us five minutes of 4v1 gameplay, showing a team of hunters going through a map, stalking the deadly beast that is attempting to lure them into traps and focus them down, eventually meeting its maker at the hands of the group.

The video unfortunately has no sound, and, as with any alpha gameplay footage, may not be representative of the final quality of the product, but it offers a quick look at the base gameplay mechanics and the overall flow of a game round.

Users report that the gameplay in the alpha was reminiscent of Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios' other major cooperative first-person shooter.

Evolve is scheduled to come out on October 21, for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms.
