The game has been plagued by a host of connectivity issues

Driveclub is still experiencing problems, and it seems that the racing game's free PlayStation Plus Edition is still missing in action.

Developer Evolution Studios initially announced the release of its PlayStation 4 exclusive racing video game for last November, as part of Sony's new console's launch lineup, but the project got pushed back time and time again, until finally showing up to the party earlier this month.

In the week and a half since the title's release, it was plagued by a ton of connectivity issues, preventing many players from properly enjoying the game. Driveclub's online servers were swarmed by eager motorists, and unable to handle the load, Evolution Studios together with Sony decided to postpone the release of the racer's free component.

The PlayStation Plus Edition of Driveclub is still nowhere to be seen, with Evolution Studios working really hard to improve the experience of its customers and still struggling to get its servers to handle the load.

"We are still also working hard to get the PS Plus Edition of DRIVECLUB out as soon as possible and hope to update you on this soon," reads the latest update on the game's Facebook page.

The company also assured its fans that more servers and upgrades would be coming, and that the experience would improve considerably over the course of the next few hours.
