Evolution GT Brings Licensed GT Cars to Your DS

- Fast cars are getting ready to race their way to your portable console

By: Calin Ciabai, Games Editor

Most of us really have a crush on fast cars. All of us have a crush on video games. That's why the announcement that the launch of Evolution GT for the Nintendo DS is getting closer will really get everybody excited. First, because it has what we love: fast,
licensed GT cars in a video game and second, because it really promises to bring some great experiences for everybody who is going to play the game.

The Nintendo DS version of the game features 5 different game modes, including Quick Race, Time Attack, Career, Championship and, of course, wireless Multiplayer and, what matters most, officially licensed GT cars, including the Corvette Z06, Mercedes-Benz SLK, TVR T 350, Audi A4 Touring Car and unleashes them on eight different tracks in various environments – London, Milan, Barcelona, Cote d'Azur, Corsica Island, Scottish Highlands, Berlin and Tuscany Hills. To make the game even more enjoyable, Evolution GT also supports the DS rumble pack.

Even though we didn't get to see any screenshots from the Nintendo DS version, we really hope that it will also come with some great graphics to complete a winning hand, since it already has plenty of action, a compelling gameplay, fast cars and multiplayer options. Not to mention the fact that its four different difficulty levels make it an accessible game for every type of player.

The most important game mode, the Career one, will allow gamers to experience the joy of four seasons in their career of rising drivers, while the Championship mode will allow you to unlock even more great cars that can be later used in the Quick Race mode. So everything is connected somehow.

Evolution GT, developed by Firebrand Games and published by Black Bean will hit the game store shelves on the 23rd of January 2008.
