Evolution 3.8.3 Brings Several Improvements and Fixes

Yesterday, June 10, the development team behind the Evolution groupware suite has announced the immediate availability for download of Evolution 3.8.3.

This is the third maintenance release of the stable 3.8 branch of the Evolution contact manager, address manager and calendar for the GNOME desktop environment.

Evolution 3.8.3 brings several fixes, including the ability to delete calendar events from view, searching in Calendar view, emptying group address while the recipient prevents message send, and more.

Moreover, the e_mail_reader_edit_messages() and e_mail_reader_forward_messages() functions have been added in Evolution 3.8.3, and the "ask-reply-close-browser" prompt has been moved to EMailBrowser.

Many translations have been included in this new stable release, including Catalan, Czech, Galician, Gujarati, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian Bokmål, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Slovenian and Tamil. More details can be found in the official release announcement.
