Evolution 3.12.5, a complete solution that provides integrated mail, address book, and calendaring functionality to users of the GNOME desktop environment, is available for download.

The new version of Evolution was released in the current 3.12.x stable cycle and it implements quite a few changes, although it's a rather small update.

According to the changelog, the contact images in message preview have been scaled down, the application will check to see if the Adwaita icon theme is present, a critical warning is no longer provided when the user is hiding the tooltip above the event, and the images in the contact preview are no longer shown with webkitgtk3 2.4.x.

Also, missing chain-up-s have been added to the parent's constructed() method, the software now uses the selected color for the selected region in EDayView, a runtime warning from tooltip_get_view_event is now avoided, smaller icons are now used in the Search bar, special characters in folder names are now encoded, a memory leak has been fixed, and a few other changes and improvements have been implemented.

A complete list of bug fixes can be found in the official changelog. You can download Evolution 3.12.5 sources right now from Softpedia, but it's advisable to wait until the packages land in the repos.
