14 DAY TRIAL // If you’re a movie buff, you must know of the fine work Cinema Sins has been doing for some time now, pointing out the sins of blockbuster movies for those of us who are not usually that attentive to this kind of details.
Of course, these videos are not meant to disparage the films, but only to stress that, sometimes, paying more attention to certain elements in the plot would lead to an improved experience in the theater for the viewer.
Their latest release is Everything Wrong with “Looper” in 3 Minutes or Less, and you can check it out in full above. Obviously, it includes plenty of spoilers.
The film’s director, Rian Johnson, is not amused, tweeting, “I should be good humored about this, but it feels oddly nasty. Also it’s almost all thoughtless & wrong. Ok I’ll shush” with a link to the video.
Recent similar videos include one for “Prometheus” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” with the former found guilty of most sins.
Before you jump to conclusions, try to see these videos with humor because that’s why they were created in the first place. I personally enjoyed all three movies but still LOL-ed on several occasions.
