Evernote users might have already received the latest update for the application on their Android devices, but for those who have yet to download the new version, here is what's been changed.

According to developers, the latest update brings a new premium feature that allows users to hide and show homescreen items.

In addition, the application now comes with Notebook Picker that shows the most recent notebooks for quicker and easier access.

Users will now be able to add a summary page to PDFs containing markup. Improved Page Camera for better recognition and performance has been added as well. That's about all the changes included in the new version, so make sure you update if you want to take advantage of any of these.

You can now download Evernote for Android for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
