Search the web for recipes, then clip your favorites to My Cookbook

Now that we’ve all agreed Evernote Food is no longer boring, I’m happy to report that the company’s gastronomy app has received a new update.

The Recipes tab is more helpful than ever now, thanks to the added ability to scour the web from Evernote Food, and then clip the recipes you like to My Cookbook.

You can view all the recipes you've stored in Evernote as Word documents, and you can browse, clip, and share recipes from new Russian recipe partner Ovkuse.

Restaurants now have directions attached to them, and you can use pinch-to-zoom when viewing photos in meal notes you've created.

On a general level, the new Evernote Food 2.2.2 includes fixes and performance improvements that’ll make the app run as smooth as butter. That’s pretty much the only gastronomic word game I could come up with for the entire post.
