Evercool is one of those companies that makes a living off the development of solutions capable of solving whatever heat problems hardware components might have, and it has now completed its newest CPU cooler.

Since new CPUs have been introduced by both Intel and Advanced Micro Devices, there came an arguable need for newer and better coolers.

For instance, since Sandy Bridge CPUs need a new socket, new coolers were required, such as the one Evercool is said to have just completed.

The product goes by the name of Transformer 3 and, for the sake of completeness and wide compatibility, it also works with AMD processors.

One of the prime asset of the newcomer is the trio of copper heatpipes, all of them having a thickness of 6mm and coming in direct contact with the CPU itself.

There is also a tower heatsink, leading to a total size of 130 x 161 x 78.5 x mm and a weight of 630 grams.

Granted, tho this size contributes the fan as well, which is a 120mm Ever Lubricate Bearing model with a variable rotary speed.

To be more specific, the performance of the spinner is of 800 to 2,200 RPM (rotations per minute) and the sound output ranges between 15 and 35 dBA.

For those that want a more or less full list of the supported central processing units, the Evercool Thermal Transformer 3 works with the AM2, AM2+ and AM3 sockets from Advanced Micro Devices, as well as Intel LGA 775, LGA 1366 and LGA 1156, plus LGA 1155 (Sandy Bridge).

What remains to be seen is how the cooler fares against all other competing solutions once it finally becomes available for purchase.

Unfortunately, since no sort of pricing or availability details seem to have been provided, speculation is the best that anyone can manage at this point.
