Terry Michaels, a producer working on EverQuest Next Landmark, says that an alpha version for the game is set to arrive soon and that the team has big plans to reveal more information about the crafting systems and other core mechanics.

The team working on the experience says that it wants gamers to have as much information about the MMO as possible before trying it out.

EverQuest Next Landmark is designed to allow all those who use it to create items and other game assets that can then be linked to the full release of EverQuest Next.

The team at Sony Online Entertainment says that gamers will be able to stake claims to various areas of the game world to put together their creations and that they will have a variety of tools to decide exactly who has access to them at any point.

No date for the alpha has been mentioned so far.
