Even More Racy Nude Photos of Carla Bruni Out There

The French definitely have an edge over almost every nation on earth, as indeed few states can boast a former-supermodel-turned-successful-singer First Lady, who has nothing against posing naked in glamorous, glossy magazines while at the same time standing by her husband's side in a formal visit to the United Kingdom. In a move that's hardly likely to pass off as a coincidence, on the eve of Carla Bruni-Sarkozy's visit to Britain, it was revealed that a nude, black and white photo of the former supermodel was going under the hammer at the prestigious auction house Christie's in New York. And now, evidence has emerged that the photo in question (set to bring in between $3,000 and $4,000) is only one of many more racy shots depicting the French First Lady and taken by the same photographer.

Indeed, Michel Comte – the photographer who took the original 1993 shot which will be auctioned off on April 10th – has revealed that during his ten year collaboration with the Italian-born supermodel he took a lot more pictures of Bruni in rather more compromising positions. "I have many more nude pictures of Carla much more explicit than that one. But she need not worry as I would never put them on sale", he assured. However, his words come as little comfort for the wife of Nicolas Sarkozy. The logic is quite simple: the more money this particular shot will bring in, the more the other photos will be worth, and since Comte is only 53 now, he has plenty of time to make a little fortune out of exposing Bruni's never-quite-forgotten charms to the eagerly-awaiting world.

Quite understandably, Bruni didn't take too kindly to the news of her naked photo going on sale on the eve of her very important state visit to Britain. "Carla is very angry, not to say deeply upset, that a commercial organization has chosen to release this print at such an important time", revealed an aide to the now 40 year-old singer. "Her priority is to establish herself on the world stage as a first lady France can be proud of", it was added. However, at the present moment at least, the image of the glamorous Sarkozy couple is anything but solid: the French president's popularity dropped alarmingly fast since the beginning of his whirlwind romance with Bruni, and he was labeled President "Bling Bling" Sarkozy.
