This is a rather new model featuring a unibody, polycarbonate enclosure, 13.3-inch, LED-backlit, glossy widescreen display, 2GB of memory, a 250GB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics, and built-in seven-hour battery, according to the list of specs provided by Apple. The system also boasts an 8x slot-loading SuperDrive (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW), built-in iSight camera, and Mini DisplayPort, although Apple leaves these aside for the full “Product Details” towards the bottom of the page featuring this offer.
Also new to the Deals area on Apple’s store is the Refurbished MacBook 2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo - Aluminum that sells for $869. It’s not necessarily a better offer (it saves customers $230) just because it has an aluminum enclosure. In fact, the computer sports the same 2GB of RAM, seven-hour, built-in battery, standard keyboard, iSight camera, 13.3-inch, LED-backlit display, an even lower clocked CPU, and a less capacitive hard drive (just 160GB). But if you’re also buying for the looks, no one can blame you for going with this offer.
