The HP TouchPad tablet has only recently been unleashed upon the consumer market, but it seems information on future models has already made its way to the Internet.

It is not in any way surprising to learn that, through some leak or another, whether or not it was controlled, information on future IT products was exposed.

In fact, even the successor to a newly-revealed electronic is sometimes found out about, while certain occasions foresee the arrival of one or more next-generation hardware products before the flaghship even started to officially sell.

This particular instance is a minor case of the former situation, as the successor, which can also be seen as a new iteration, of the new HP tablet was given an availability time frame.

The TouchPad, as it is called, was sent out days ago and even taken apart in order to learn how much its materials cost.

Turns out that there is a third model on its way, or so the folks over at PreCentral claim to have learned.

What defines the existing TouchPads as individual entities is the amount of NAND Flash storage, 16 GB and 32 GB, respectively.

The third one, will have not only a new set of NAND Flash chips, but also faster wireless connectivity in order to stand apart.

What that means is that a total of 64 GB will be packed inside the webOS-loaded electronic and that 4G broadband support will be implemented.

August is when the unveiling is scheduled, according to the roadmap slide, though no price was mentioned as of yet.

At present, it is unknown if HP will make any other tweaks, perhaps to improve the somewhat underwhelming performance discovered during reviews. If anything, it is very possible that the capability to edit documents, at least, will be finalized by the time of arrival.
