Eve Disses Britney Spears: She’s Not Singing on “Scream and Shout”

In a recent interview with Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, rapper Eve went on the record with what some fans have been saying since will.i.am released “Scream and Shout” with Britney Spears: namely, that the woman singing is not her.

“I heard that might not be Britney,” Eve said, as TooFab reports.

“That's what I heard. But, you know, I don't know. It could be Britney. But I heard it wasn't. I don't know,” Eve added with a smile.

While a publicist for Britney is already denying the claims, saying that will.i.am specifically wrote the track with the pop star in mind and insisting that Eve shouldn’t talk unless she was in the studio as well, I can’t but think that maybe, just maybe, she could be right.

Above is a clean version of the track: either Britney is doing the British accent thing again or that’s not her. After all, stranger things have happened.
