Evanescence 'My Heart Is Broken' – Official Video

The always beautiful, ethereal Amy Lee is back in yet another visually stunning Evanescence video. Above is the official music video for “My Heart Is Broken,” the band's first single off their latest album.

The video for the song, inspired by the idea of human trafficking, sees singer Lee creating a world out of nothingness, while her bandmates perform in a dream-like state.

Useless to say, it's just like all other Evanescence releases: beautiful, different, typically Evanescence.

“We're playing with fiber optics, and so it's basically like I'm drawing the world around me from nothingness, and when I draw things with my hands, it's like they actually come to life,” Lee said a while back about the clip.

“So it's a lot of fun with creating this surreal dream world, and the guys' performance is sort of like the dream within the dream, in an abyss of darkness; it's very cool,” she added.

“Cool” is actually somewhat of an understatement. Check it out.
