This Sunday, stunning actress Evan Rachel Wood will make her debut as Queen Sophie-Anne, a “1,100-year-old bloodsucker boss lady of Louisiana,” in HBO’s successful vampire series “True Blood.” E! Online has sat down with the star and has managed to get some juicy details on what’s coming up on the show, how she came to audition for the part and, most importantly, who her love interest will be.

The big surprise comes from the fact that Wood says her character might “swing both ways,” which means she could hook up either with one of the charming male leads or switch lanes and go for a female co-star. Of course, from Wood’s perspective, this is common practice among vampires, so she wouldn’t be too surprised if this really came to happen. Naturally, fans of the show point out, now that she’s mentioned this aspect, chances of it happening at some point have gone up.

“Her human partner is a girl, but I’m pretty sure she goes both ways [laughs]. I think vampires are like that in general.” Evan Rachel Wood says of her character in “True Blood.” As for how she came to audition and land the part, the star adds she had to pull some strings, but, in the end, the effort was well worth it, because she had been a fan of the show from long before that, never missing one single episode. Moreover, it seems that producers have already included her character further down the line, which means she’ll be back for the next season as well.

“That’s pretty much how I feel after every episode [blown-away]. [Laughs] Just wait until the last episodes! There’s a lot that is going to happen. It’s going to be insane. Those were the only scripts that I read, and I was just thinking to myself (a) how are they going to film this, (b) how are they going to get away with this, and (c) just what the hell is going on?” Wood shares.

“I watched the first season and loved the show, so I got in touch with [series creator] Alan Ball and said, ‘Keep an eye out for anything that might pop up.’ I thought it was a long shot, but then later on I got a call saying they needed a queen.” the star adds of how she got to land the part.
