14 DAY TRIAL // On-set romances are neither an uncommon nor a forbidden thing in Hollywood, which is why the media is so fascinated with them, whether they’re the real deal and last past the release date of the film or just a fling that dies down once production wraps. The latest couple having met this way is Evan Rachel Wood and Alexander Skarsgard from HBO’s hit vampire series “True Blood,” Lainey Gossip writes.
Wood is a new addition to the cast, but, it seems, she is already a favorite with everybody on the set. Even more than that, she and handsome co-star Skarsgard clicked the moment they first met, and have been dating ever since. Wood, once the “arm candy” of shock rocker Marilyn Manson shortly after his divorce from burlesque dancer Dita Von Teese, even flew out of town to be with Alexander on the set of his new film. Pictures of the couple strolling the streets together have started popping up in the media.
Sources are telling the aforementioned celebrity e-zine that Shane West is now out of Wood’s life altogether, after they both realized they were going in different directions. With this in mind, the actress was single when she met Alexander and immediately took action when she saw him and, understandably, took a liking to him. They started dating right away, but have managed to keep their relationship low-brow so far, by avoiding all the celebrity hotspots in Los Angeles, sources are telling the media.
“Evan Rachel Wood and Alexander Skarsgard are dating. Am told exclusively by an infallible source that it’s been several weeks now. And that she flew to Shreveport, Louisiana on Friday to visit him. Skarsgard is there working on ‘Straw Dogs’ with Kate Bosworth. […] As for Evan and Alex – they met, of course, on the set of ‘True Blood,’ and were able to keep it low key, very underground while they were in LA, never venturing out to pap friendly locations, only sighted a few times discreetly, and so far the relationship is progressing well, they’re having fun together.” Lainey Gossip writes.
As is usual with these cases, neither of the two stars was available for comment at the time of writing. However, fans incline to believe the report may actually be accurate, since there’s no need to kick up a storm to get more publicity for the show – it’s already performing wonderfully, scoring record (or near so) ratings with each episode.
