Until not long ago, stunner Evan Rachel Wood was involved in a stormy relationship with shock rocker Marilyn Manson, who reportedly ended his marriage with burlesque dancer Dita von Teese so they could be together. Now, reports abound that she’s moved on to another bad boy, none other than Mickey Rourke, her co-star in “The Wrestler,” the two having been spotted locking lips during this year’s SAG Awards ceremony.
Fox News reports that the two got to know each other better while shooting for the box-office hit movie, where Evan plays the daughter of Rourke’s character. Even then, rumor had it that the pair had crossed the professional boundary, although, in all fairness, if they did, no one in the media ever got confirmation of it.
“The two attended Grey Goose’s Official SAG after-party at the Shrine on Sunday evening but were spotted leaving together enroute to the later after party at the Four Seasons Hotel. According to Pop Tarts spies, the actress went upstairs with Rourke (whose second marriage ended over a decade ago) when he suddenly grabbed her for a lip-lock in the outside area of the swanky five-star hotel.” Fox News informs.
Of course, romantic relationships are not out of the ordinary among co-stars, especially if shooting for a movie implies more than just sitting next to each other saying lines, and a special bond is created. The same seems to have happened for Wood and Rourke as well, although some fans simply can’t overlook the age difference between the two to come to terms with this new relationship, if one at all.
As noted above, until not long ago, Evan Rachel Wood dated Manson and, even back then, her affair with the rocker and his subsequent divorce was seen badly by the media. The fact that, at the time, Wood was dressing more Goth-like prompted comparisons between her and ex Dita, whom she was said to be unsuccessfully trying to emulate.
