14 DAY TRIAL // We're still taking our time coming to terms with the fact that Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are not only back together but also having a baby. But the happy couple are already making preparations to welcome their bundle of joy into the world. Evidence points they are having a boy.
A report from OK Magazine claims that several people saw Gosling and Mendes at their Hollywood Hills mansion getting ready to turn it from a bachelor pad into a baby-worthy abode by adding a nursery to it.
Because most of the things going in the house, such as toys, furniture and clothes that have been delivered to the house are blue in color, the general consensus is that they are having a boy.
It turns out that the actors decided to give the baby a neutral color when it comes to the walls of his room, but when it came to accessories, blue was the color of choice. Assistants of both actors were seen coming by their house and dropping off different baby items, and they were all blue.
An insider even reveals that “Ryan put together the crib, which is made out of bamboo, so it's environmentally friendly.” This seems to be the dominating theme since “everything in the baby's room is sustainable. There will be monkey on the walls.”
Get this, their baby is not even born yet but Ryan and Eva already have a nickname for him. The insider spills, “They even have nicknamed the baby ‘Monkey,’ which they think is adorable.” That explains the animals on the walls.
The press is still trying to confirm that Eva and Ryan are having a baby together, since rumors about their relationship this year weren't the best, indicating that the couple was ready for a split and had even taken some time apart.
Ellen DeGeneres was the first one to break the news on Twitter, when she told the whole world, “Congrats to @RyanGosling and @EvaMendes! That's going to be the most beautiful, bilingual, part-superhero, well-dressed, romantic baby ever.”
Soon after that, the tabloids went ballistic and they haven't stopped typing stories ever since. Just yesterday we found out that the father was taken by surprise by the news of the pregnancy, but that it turned him from a careless bachelor into an overprotective father, ready to give Eva the privacy she so desperately wanted.
Both parents-to-be are notorious for keeping their private life under wraps, so we'll have to wait and see whether the insiders and the sources called it or it's all just speculation. Either way, the parents seem to be on cloud nine at the moment.
