14 DAY TRIAL // Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling became romantically involved while playing onscreen lovers in “The Place Beyond the Pines” and, because they never want to talk about their romance with the press, fans of both are always kept guessing.
According to the latest reports, they’re either broken up already or on their way to a definite split – and it’s all because Eva Mendes is driving him crazy with her jealousy, insiders say for Us Weekly.
One such spy claims that the two broke up “briefly” about half a year ago and got back together, but things have never been the same ever since. Admittedly, Ryan has days when he’s “moody” and she’s jealous enough to imagine the worst of him when that happens.
“He can be moody, and she's insecure. She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he's talking to other girls,” the spy dishes. We imagine nothing good comes out of such an assumption.
The report mentions that friends of the stunning actress have also noticed something is wrong because, where she couldn’t stop gushing about her man in July, she now refuses to talk about him and even “shuts down anyone who brings up Ryan.”
“It's clear something is wrong. I wouldn't be surprised if they split for good soon,” says a pal for the same publication.
Because Eva has always refused to talk to the press about Gosling (she even threatened a reporter to sic his dog on him if he kept pressing her on the subject), there’s really no way of knowing whether she and Ryan are still together or not.
She’s always maintained that her private life is her own to decide whether she wants to share it with others or not, so naturally, neither she nor her publicist was available for comment at the time this came out.
But, as the saying goes, time will tell in the case of this rumor as well.
