14 DAY TRIAL // Like most depressed girls out there, for Valentine's Day, Eva Mendes is planning to feast, watch a soapy movie and cry her eyes out. At least, that's what she told Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show on Wednesday.
Ellen invited Eva on her show to talk about all the recent rumors that have been surrounding her and boyfriend Ryan Gosling, with all the breakup drama and the more recent pregnancy drama.
Eva seemed to be a real sport, and addressed all the rumors in a laughing manner. When asked about what she was going to do for Valentine's Day, the actress chimed, “I'm not a big Valentine's Day person… I'll probably just order a deep dish and watch The Notebook or something. Just cry, weep.”
The actress finished her sentence with a hearty laugh, indicating to the audience that she wasn't taking this discussion seriously, but she also had the power to joke about Ryan Gosling's famous romantic film in which he stars with former girlfriend Rachel McAdams.
Ellen then addressed the pregnancy rumors and Mendes patiently explained how they started from the fact that she chose to avoid the full body scan at the airport, something she does on a regular basis, she was careful to add.
This comes to blow all the breakup rumors that had surfaced around Christmas out of the water. According to the gossip, the two actors who met in 2011 on the set of the movie “The Place Beyond the Pines” were not seeing eye to eye anymore and decided to go their separate ways.
While Eva Mendes did deny all the rumors, she still has to make a public appearance with Gosling, as the two haven't been spotted together since last year. Eva may deny all she wants, but the proof is in the pudding, as the Brits say. No Gosling on her arm means no relationship in our books.
