Eva Longoria Is Planning Something Big and Juicy!

All this fuss about Eva Longoria's wedding "of the year" and honeymoon makes me sick. Much ado about nothing I say, just a media hype for increased audience in her show. But, as a would-be journalist, I have to write even things that piss me off, so here's the latest on Eva for all you people that are hungry for gossip or just fans of her show.

In an interview for People magazine she made some comments about her honeymoon, of course confirming what we already knew: "It was so romantic, it was just the two of us. We were completely alone together. We didn't see people for days with the exception of room service bringing us food". Well, maybe they didn't see people for days, but people sure saw them, as a detailed report on their vacation leaked a few days ago. Apparently, they like loneliness while on holidays but just LOVE to be in the spotlights when in town. News about her recent plans are popping out from all over the place.

One of these news is that, apparently, her new husband is either getting really bored or he's madly in love, as he joined her on the set of "Desperate Housewives" on Monday and Tuesday. In the same interview, Eva says the following: "He's been coming to the set with me since we returned to Los Angeles - just like during the season when I was going to the Spurs games. With [his] season over, he's hanging out on the set with me. It's a lot of fun". We wish to translate this into "Tony doesn't have any other life besides sports and Eva". Pretty grim, huh? At least we have a thing for gossip, it's still a hobby, right?

Unlike her husband, Eva has other hobbies. If you can call food business a hobby, that is. Rumor has it that Eva plans the launch of a stylish restaurant, along with promoter Jonas Lowrance and "chef" Todd English. I though real chefs are named "Pierre" or something. The new place won't be called "Chez Eva" but "Beso" (that means "Kiss" in Spanish). Logic dictates that it's going to be a Spanish-oriented restaurant, in which Eva invested about $250,000. Her competition is fierce, other stars having also invested in restaurants including Jennifer Lopez, Ashton Kutcher and Justin Timberlake. Apparently, all these guys know that celebrity doesn't last more than hunger. Good idea, folks!
