The sexy and 'desperate housewife' will try her hand at what most TV actors dream of: a career in Hollywood, on the big screen. But, unlike others that failed miserably, she isn't burning all her bridges.
Longoria signed on for the romantic comedy 'How I Met My Boyfriend's Dead Fiance', starring Paul Rudd ('Friends') and Lake Bell ('Surface'), set to begin shooting in August.
The beautiful actress will play the part of the dead fiance, desperately trying to stop her man from dating other women.
Rudd is a skeptic who falls in love with a psychic and who is willing to live his life properly, if only it weren't for the constant interruptions from his dead girlfriend. She does everything in her power to make the two lovebirds grow apart and, who knows, maybe she will succeed.
The story is a bit awkward, we have to admit but it's very likely that the movie will do fine at the box-office. Anyway, just in case, Eva kept all her options open and made a deal with ABC to keep her part as Gabrielle Solis in 'Desperate Housewives'.
She will work on her movie career during weekends and on the TV show during the week. A wise choice, indeed...
