Uber-sexy Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria is to shoot a Texas movie, according to Hollywood Reporter. The star will go back to her home state to star in "Deep in the Heart of Texas".

The Hollywood Reporter informs that Touchstone Pictures has acquired Pam Buchignati and Lynnette Ramirez's pitch, „which centers on a spoiled Beverly Hills diva (Longoria) who becomes a fish out of water when she is relocated to San Antonio to run the new Latin division of an ad agency."

The movie also deals with romance (Longoria has to win over the gringo urban cowboy who is her new boss, and speaks fluent Spanish) and finding one's own roots and heritage.

Eva Longoria has been over flooded with offers and contracts lately, yet she chose the Touchstone rom-com in order to please her fans. The star has been previously in her carrier rejected at the Hitch auditions, but she's now thankful for that bad luck that led to the huge amount of fame and fans she has gained as a desperate housewife.
