Hollywood is a world full of contradictions and the Latino sex bomb Eva Longoria is no exception. While in the past she talked about the challenges of being beautiful and about how hard it is to make a name for yourself in showbiz, now she says that she plans to retire and start a family.

The actress said that she would rather have a child than be awarded the cherished Oscar statuette (were there any chances of her even being nominated?). She also revealed her plans of going back home in Texas once production on the hit show 'Desperate Housewives' is wrapped up.

'I want to be a mother, I want to get married, I want to raise kids. I'd much rather have a family than win an Oscar. When the show finishes I want to go home to Texas and be a mother', Eva told the reporters.

Another aspect that suffered from Longoria's sudden change of mind is the one concerning a woman's looks. Beauty doesn't matter after all and Eva claims that she is looking forward to growing old: 'My number one priority is not to stay young forever. I want to grow old. Your looks can only last so long and you can't depend on them forever'.

Meanwhile, she has no problem with her stardom status being boosted to classify among Hollywood's A-listers on the simple basis of her amazing looks and too little on her talent or merits as an actress.
