The Lamborghini VX6 netbook from ASUS has been in existence for quite a while, but only now has it finally shown itself on the European market, ready to cause ripples with its dual-core CPU and uncommon display size.

The Lamborghini VX6 was unveiled some time ago and turned heads, for one, because, even as a netbook, it has a display size of 12.1 inches.

The other asset is the Intel Atom D525 CPU which, while part of the Pine Trail platform, is stronger than its siblings, with two cores at a frequency of 1.83 GHz.

This CPU is backed up by 2 GB of DDR3 memory and paired with the NVIDIA ION 2 graphics processing unit, which benefits from 512 MB of dedicated memory.

This combination of hardware should let the machine easily play high-quality multimedia files and even some games.

There is also a hard disk drive with an internal storage capacity of 320 GB, as well as the full range of connectivity and I/O options.

For instance, the entry-level mobile PC features the obligatory Ethernet, plus Bluetooth 3.0, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 802.11 b / g / n WiFi and even an SD, MMC card reader.

What's more, there is a HDMI output, so that multimedia files may be streamed over to an auxiliary display of a larger size.

Not only that, but even USB 3.0 ports are present, which means that one will be able to use their external storage devices to their full potential.

Those so inclined should be able to go for 4 GB of RAM, instead of 'just' two, and the configuration also includes high-definition audio with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower Technology.

As for battery life, a single charge should be able to keep the whole thing operational for up to 5.5 hours.

Finally, the ASUS Lamborghini VX6 is pre-loaded with the Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and has a starting price tag of 599 Euro.
